Sankofa Sisters

The dynamic between African American teacher and African American student has historically resembled that of a familial bond. Expanding on that dynamic through character education specifically for girls of color, we have been able to decrease "drama" amongst middle school girls so that they can focus more on academic growth and community service. The young ladies have become leaders amongst their peers and would like to share their journeys through sisterhood.
