Jaqui Rogers

Educated by the Saint Louis Public School system, Jaqui earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education Language Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She acquired her MBA from Webster University shortly thereafter, and has since dedicated her career work to the non-profit sector by way of non-traditional education and curriculum development. Currently, Jaqui is a full-time educator with an unapologetic passion for designing and facilitating unique opportunities for her students to address injustices in their communities, while learning (and teaching) important life skills. She’s currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and Social Justice through the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Her dissertation explores themes and remedies surrounding the experiences of Black Mothers advocating for their children in schools. Since embarking upon this research, she’s founded Mama2Mama, LLC—a platform that centers the experiences of and resources for Black Mothers advocating for themselves, their children, and equity in K-12 education.
