Empowering Through Experience has been my tag line for 8 years. I came up with the name ‘You Are Worthy because I grew up feeling unworthy. This was a consulting firm where I mentored and planned workshops and events for young girls who needed empowerment. The original plan was to really help youth of color that identified as Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) but early on I was deterred from my dream. So, the mission has always been embedded deep and I was scared and ashamed. In 2014, I said NO MORE! I broke You Are Worthy out of the closet and designed it to be a nonprofit organization.
